    "Bend It Like Beckham" was an interesting movie, I found. In fact, after watching that and "The Guru", I've recently gotten my hands on "Monsoon Wedding" and "American Desi", which I've heard are also of Indian cultural rooting. (Okay, "The Guru" is less about the culture, and just plain entertaining.) I hope those next two will be as much a pleasure to watch!

    "Where's the Party Yaar?" and "Bollywood/Hollywood" are also good ones to catch. I also saw Bombay Dreams the musical recently and enjoyed that. Worth the half price TKTS ticket but not the full admission.

    I actually did not enjoy "Finding Nemo" as opposed to most of my friends. Wasn't really that funny to me. Saw one good movie over the holidays though -- "Whale Rider".
